- Only South African citizens or those permanently residing in the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 (eighteen) years and older, may enter the competition. Proof of identity will be required should you be drawn as a winner.
- An independent attorney will oversee and certify the conducting of the competition.
- Any reference in these terms and conditions to ‘dotsure.co.za’ refers to Dotsure Limited (Registration number 2006/000723/06), a licensed non-life insurer and authorised financial services provider (FSP39925).
- To be entered into the competition, you must:
a. share your pet’s lucky habit in the comments section of the competition post on Instagram and dotsure.co.za Pet Facebook page along with the hashtag #DotsureLuckyPaws,
b. tag another pet parent; and
c. follow @huntlealeather and @dotsurepetsa on Instagram and Facebook.
- For the avoidance of doubt, there will be one winner selected from the entries received.
- The winner will be announced by 5 May 2026.
- All entrants must use their own correct personal details to enter.
- Only one entry per person (1 comment = 1 entry) is allowed. Entries submitting multiple entries will be disqualified.
- Entry is free of charge.
- There is no automatic prize for entering.
- The winner will receive a Huntlea Premium Dog Steps – 2 or 3 Step up to the value of R1 350.00 (one thousand three hundred and fifty Rand).
- The prize shall be sent to the qualifying winner via courier, to an address of their choice.
- The winner will be notified via a comment under the competition entry, followed by an e-mail (to the email address provided by the winner) from a dotsure.co.za representative.
- Fraudulent and duplicate entries will not be allowed and dotsure.co.za reserves the right to disregard these entries.
- We will respond to any questions or queries about the competition via email, [email protected].
- By entering the competition, entrants accept the terms and conditions and consent that, should they be drawn as the winner, dotsure.co.za may publish their Instagram handle and/or name and surname on the dotsure.co.za social accounts and the monthly dotsure.co.za newsletter. Should the winner however not want their Instagram handle and/or name and surname published, they must inform dotsure.co.za immediately, failing which dotsure.co.za will proceed to publish same.
- No employees, directors, members, consultants, partners, or agents of Dotsure Limited or any of its related or interrelated entities are eligible to enter this competition, nor are any of their immediate family members.
- dotsure.co.za accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liability, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in the competition. dotsure.co.za further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the competition.
- dotsure.co.za reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify these terms and conditions or to discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice. The decision of dotsure.co.za in all matters under its control is final and binding.
- dotsure.co.za shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
- The competition will be governed by South African law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
